The son of an opera singer, Steven was exposed to music early. He grew up listening to his father sing on T.V. shows like CBC’s “Pick The Stars”. Some of his father’s other credits included the San Francisco Opera Company and touring with Robert Goulet. Inspired by this, Steven began to find his voice by age 9, listening to the sounds of Sinatra, Tony Bennett and Mario Lanza, to name a few. It was not until the tragic passing of his father, that Steven knew he was destined to pursue his music career. Since then, Steven has done musical theatre with “Theatre Under The Stars” and performed with talents like Ron Johnston, Miles Black and Doug Louie. Steven’s debut cd entitled “In The Moment” is a masterful collection of original music written and produced for Steven by prolific writer and producer Don Harte. It is now available at www.hartemusic.com, as well as cd baby, itunes and in store at HMV and Chapters.
